Jan van Rijckenborgh schools

INTRODUCTION
Jan van Rijckenborgh school is an ordinary primary school. The schools fall under the denominational education. But a Jan van Rijckenborgh school is more.
The schools were founded by the Foundation Schools of the Rosycross. As starting point they use the doctrines of the Universal Wisdom, as they are propagated by the Spiritual School of the Golden Rosycross, the Lectorium Rosicrucianum. The core of the Universal Teachings are: to stimulate the human being who has forgotten his divine origin to increase his consciousness of the situation here in this world, in which all things are temporal. The Universal Doctrine wishes to show him or her the path towards the original state of man, via the sevenfold path of Liberation.

PURPOSE
The Jan van Rijckenborgh Schools are essential to create an open and safe study- and life situation in which growth of the soul is possible and in which people work with great mutual respect – with their heart, their head and their hands. A young child isn’t yet so crystallized as adults, and is more open for the divine interference with world and mankind. It is of great importance that this soul openness remains intact. In this respect a pure life attitude from parents and teachers will be a true support for the child. A life attitude as was practised through all ages by the great world teachers, like Lao Tzu, Hermes Tresmegistos, the Buddha, Jesus Christ and many others; a life attitude that is still of present interest.
