Rosycross and Gnosis

Time - 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Discover the meaning of life through gnosis:
the knowledge of the heart
What is the meaning of our life?
It is a question that has occupied people for centuries. We invite you to explore, in a series of 5 meetings, how this exploration can lead to an inner path of discovery toward new consciousness.
Gnosis, the knowledge of the heart that reveals the mystery of human existence, will serve as a guide in this process. Together, we will search for this and delve into life's questions. That is why we call these meetings ‘an inner exploration’.
What does this exploration consist of?
The exploration consists of five meetings. Four meetings will take place live at the Embassy of the Free Mind in Amsterdam and will also be streamed simultaneously on Zoom, so you can join us online as well.
The fifth meeting is a joint national day at Renova, our conference centre in Bilthoven.
Each meeting has its own theme, in line with Rosicrucianism and gnosis. At the start, you will receive texts containing the themes.
During these meetings
» you will explore the core ideas of the Rosicrucians
» you will delve into various Gnostic-Hermetic themes
» you will exchange ideas with others and share experiences
» the question: what is true awareness? will be addressed
Together we will explore the meaning of life and how this exploration can lead to an inner path to new consciousness. You are most welcome!

Themes of the meetings
Meeting 1: The inner call and assignment
Gnosis grants us insight into the mystery of life. If we open ourselves to its illuminating light, we will see the path before us. Fulfilling our assignment is possible through: love that makes redemption possible, knowledge that is a light on the path, and action that realizes the process toward freedom.
Meeting 2: Man and microcosm
The insight grows that what we seek cannot be found in our current, ego-centered life. This insight forms the beginning of a renewed consciousness. There is another life that touches us and is very close; it is around and within us: it is around us as a microcosm and within us as a spiritual spark.
Meeting 3: An open heart and a new thinking
A heart that is open to gnosis is a heart that has become still. In such a heart, the call can find resonance. If a soul is to truly begin to live, it needs a field in which it can breathe and attain consciousness.
Meeting 4: Realisation in the here and now and the path of transfiguration
In the light of gnosis, by being single-mindedly focused on our new life goal, we can live without struggle and preserve inner harmony. Transfiguration is a process of change from the earthly to the divine human, from the mortal to the immortal soul.
